Hemmingway and other notable and timeless writers use simple diction to help cater to all audiences. You fail to understand that this site is for everyone and I refuse to risk alienating some of my readers. This site is already very niche and the beauty of a blog is that my readers can interact with me and even though replying to the comments of 14 year olds may detract from what you think my 'target' is I get pleasure out of helping men AND women of all ages so I have full intention to keep doing so even to the detriment of my marketing strategy. You need to pick a Target Audience and stick to them. You wouldn’t write to an audience of 14yr olds the same way you would write to an audience of 60yr olds.
